RHS Alumni Scholarship Winners
The Rolfe High School Alumni Scholarship was started at the Rolfe All-School Reunion in 2005 with donations from alumni. The scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors from the Pocahontas Area Community School District who live in the original Rolfe School District or whose parent was a Rolfe alumnus. The seniors must have a 3.00 or better grade point average; participate in a variety of school, community, and church activities; possess good character; and intend to attend either a two-year or four-year college. This year’s recipients are Michael Miller, son of Gary Miller and the late Brenda Hansen Miller; Elissa Ripperger, daughter of Al and Deb Ripperger; and Kyle Woiwood, son of Andy and Tori Woiwood. They each received a $200 scholarship.
