The tornado toppled, crushed, and scattered a grain bin on the Mick and Sue Reigelsberger farm. The tin was blown across the fields. In addition, the storm took part of the roof off of a fairly new machine shed. | ||
Mick and Sue and his parents, Norine and Joe Reigelsberger, operate a
Pioneer seed dealership from the farm. Their sign sits atop a burn pile of
tree limbs and other debris. In the distance is the gravel road that goes
past their place and the Gunderson farm. |
||
The most significant damage was to their seed warehouse. It exploded due to the imbalance of air pressure created by the tornado. |
