Rolfe Alumni -

2005 Reunion Chorus

A multi-generational community chorus sang for the Saturday evening program at St.Paul's Lutheran Church for the 2005 RHS alumni all-class reunion. The chorus did a resoundingly excellent performance of "On Top of the World" made popular by the Carpenter's in the 1970s, "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," and "God Bless America." It was a delight to watch director John Nielsen in action as he inspired the group and led a diverse group of singers who created music that wafted throughout the sanctuary, lifted spirits, and brought a standing ovation. We give a heartfelt thanks to director John Nielsen, pianist Marilee Kleepsies, and all the chorus members for their gift of music and adding so much pleasure and meaning to the evening.
