Obituary GLENN ROY SHELGREN Glenn Roy Shelgren, 65, of Choteau, MT, formerly of Gilmore City, died Wednesday, Dec. 7. 1994, at the Teton Medical Center in Choteau. Services were at Gorder Funeral Home In Choteau, MT. Burial was in Montana Veterans Cemetery, Fort Harrison, Helene, MT, with military rites. Survivors include brothers, H. Robert, Grand Haven, MI, Virgil, Rolfe, and John and James, both of Gilmore City; sisters, June Vaughn, Rolfe, Joan Allen, Edina, MN, and Jane Shelgren, Minneapolis, MN; and nieces and nephews. He was born December 17, 1928, in Garfield Township in Pocahontas County. He attended rural schools and graduated from Rolfe High School in 1945. He served two years with the United States Marine Corps and attended Iowa State University. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in agronomy and worked as a federal grain inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture. In 1985, he retired and moved to Fairfield, MT, where he operated a ranch. He later moved to Choteau. MT. because of failing health.
