BETTY J. CARYL

Topeka, Kansas -- Betty J. Caryl, 82, of Topeka, Kansas, died June 6, 2003, at Aldersgate Village. She was born to Keith and Helen Fawcett on February 6, 1921, at Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was a homemaker and a past member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and Garden Club in Rolfe. They lived 27 years in Rolfe before moving to Topeka, Kansas, in 1990.

Betty married David K. Caryl January 17, 1942, in Liberty, Missouri. She is survived by her husband David; and son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Betty; grandchildren, Arrow Caryl, Beau Caryl and his wife Emily, Misty Caryl; and great-granddaughter Zoe Nevaeh Caryl.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service was held at Grace Methodist Church Monday, June 16, 2003, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Clinton-Garfield Cemetery at Rolfe at a later date.
